What could be better than a scroll bar? Probably not much. To try and close that gap the addition of a Scroller was added for use on the Formula Builder question type. The FB Scroller (as it has come to be known by this blogger) adds some very useful new functions.
- Navigation of the workspace is managed by simply hovering over an arrow
- Activation works when carrying an object or not
- It may be placed anywhere on the question type
The workspace for building formulas is very large. With the use of the normal scrollbars, many formulas may be created. Moving the formulas or variables around however, was not as easy. Now with the addition of the scroller, simply hover over the arrows to move the workspace around.
Note above the ability to hold a variable, hover over the arrow, and then place it into a formula.
You may also place the scroller at a
nytime in a preferred location. There may be times during the same question it would be useful to move the scroller a few times.
