I’d like to take this opportunity to follow up on the LMS notice regarding the upcoming update to the CML course modules. While these technical updates are a necessary part of maintaining a robust learning environment, I understand they can occasionally cause confusion for both you and your students. This update has been scheduled during what is a historically slow period of LMS activity to minimize the disruption, but I understand that it will potentially negatively impact certain students. This is the underlying reason for providing additional lead time for you and your students.
I want to inform you, the instructor, our first line of communication with the students, about why we do these updates and how you can best support your students through the process.

VR Headsets Now Included with Every 6th Student Course Registration Through Google Partnership

Significant progress has been made in the development of our Virtual Reality training program. From integrating headsets with the LMS to building immersive modules on Transformers, Print-to-Model, and Model-to-Print training scenarios, the groundwork has been laid for a next-generation learning experience. Beta testing with both internal and external SMEs is underway, and systems for headset logistics and device management are already in place.

But the real headline is this: thanks to a groundbreaking partnership with Google, headsets will now be available to training programs at no cost. When six students are registered for the etA VR (formerly Virtual Reality, Branch Circuit Wiring) course, your program will receive one free headset—and for every additional six students, another headset will be provided (while supplies last).

6-24-2025 TMS Service Disruption

During a routine system update on 6/24/2025 at 11:00 AM Eastern, we identified a database migration that stalled during the release process causing subsequent healthcheck failures and resulting in the decision to rollback. The rollback was completed without issue and the TMS is back online as of 1:08 PM Eastern. There was no disruption to the LMS during this time period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
