Significant progress has been made in the development of our Virtual Reality training program. From integrating headsets with the LMS to building immersive modules on Transformers, Print-to-Model, and Model-to-Print training scenarios, the groundwork has been laid for a next-generation learning experience. Beta testing with both internal and external SMEs is underway, and systems for headset logistics and device management are already in place.

But the real headline is this: thanks to a groundbreaking partnership with Google, headsets will now be available to training programs at no cost. When six students are registered for the Virtual Reality, Branch Circuit Wiring course, your program will receive one free headset—and for every additional six students, another headset will be provided (while supplies last).

These headsets are a commercial version of the Meta 3S. They feature a 3-year warranty, 256 GB of memory, and a two-year device management program that will be administered by the etA. The device management program means that you will never have to worry about where to get the right app or how to load it. This can all be done for you. Continuing support via the device management program will be available for a small fee after the first two years, although it is optional.

Even more exciting, the first wave of VR modules will launch this September, with additional topics—including Photovoltaics and Wind Turbines—coming soon. As new content is released, it will be automatically added to the existing Virtual Reality, Branch Circuit Wiring course. All registered students will gain access to this expanding library without any further fees or course registrations—another major benefit made possible through our partnership with Google.
While headset shipments will begin in the next couple of months, registration is open now. To secure your headsets:
