The October 29, 2018 blog post identified upcoming changes to the legacy test generator. The change will require all programs currently using the test generator to download a new executable file that will fix current issues programs are experiencing while downloading tests as well as add additional security functionality.
The new link for the test generator is now available for download and can be used immediately (no need to wait until November 12th).
***** NOTE: Effective November 12th, 2018, the CD ROM used in the past as well as any executable file used prior to November 1st will no longer work with the legacy test generator.*****
The changes made to the legacy test generator will not have any effect on tests that have been created and will not affect the current subscription for any programs. We have simply updated the security and functionality of the test generator.
Please follow the instructions below to start using the new Test Generator Executable:
- Download a new stand-alone executable from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vwmamii9srif9h7/NJATCTestGenerator2.exe?dl=0
- Navigate to the folder containing the downloaded file.
- Double click on the “NJATCTestGeneratorSSLArchive” file
- Drag and drop the “NJATCTestGenerator.exe” file to your desktop or another location on your computer.
- Double click on the “NJATCTestGenerator.exe” file to launch the Test Generator interface.
- Login as you normally would.
