The Enrollment Application is 
evolving with your needs to keep you a step ahead. It features a polished interface and enhancements designed to maximize productivity, improve predictability and fast-track new users while supporting all existing workflows...Most importantly, it was carefully crafted to 
make managing LMS training easier. It’s worth restating: As we update this system, users of the legacy system will not be faced with a burdensome task of learning a whole new system. After 7 years of use on the legacy system, we applied all of the lessons learned into the new tool in order to make managing the LMS training easier, more intuitive, and allow for even more enhancements and the grouping of electrical training ALLIANCE tools in the future.
Over the next few weeks more information will be shared as to:
- What the specific changes are
- When additions to the new system that exceed current capabilities will be included
- Where video training will be located
- How users who know and don’t know todays system should expect to interact with the new one and feel at ease with the updates –> with training content accessible from right within the application
The biggest change overall is the name. Yes, Yes, we all know names may change, and this name change like another before, more aptly describes itself and what it will become. The new name of the existing Enrollment Application is the Training Management System or TMS for short.
We will now have a TMS that because of these updates, will allow us to augment the system to offer more features than ever before. These features will be added over time, but it is because of this update that we can begin to add more usability and functionality to the tool.
Just like now, the TMS will continue to be utilized for:
- Rostering of Users – Students, Instructors and Training Director Assistants
- Creation of Course Sessions
- Granting of access to content via Enrolling students and Assigning instructors to courses
- Reviewing of your Current Orders and Order History
- Access to the LMS and the CLCS

This updated release will continue to provide you with the tools you have today, allow for more efficient use of the system, and offer our ability to expand the system to better serve your training needs.
Look for an updated post to be sent out for the specifics on when we will be making this conversion/update from the EA to the TMS. A post will also be displayed on both login pages of the EA and LMS to announce the particulars as well.
