The following message from our Customer Service Specialist – Mr. Steve Strickland, is a great update as to where we are in our process of delivering the current curriculum information.
“We are working to get the catalog posted on the website ASAP. The printed copy will be sent to all JATC’s as soon as it is completed. The bookstore and LMS have both been updated for the new school year.”
A few notes follow:
- The new titles for the AC and DC Theory courses no longer identify the inclusion of the Electrical Theory Simulator (ETS) and Labs however, the ETS and Labs are still included in the courses.
- The CLCS is almost fully updated. We still need to tidy up the 2011 and 2014 NEC selections but have completed the 2017 NEC, 2017-2018 Snapshot, and the 1st Year Starting 2017 versions.
- Once the CLCS updates are complete a blog post will go out and presentations will be given to explain them.
- As a reminder, Fire Alarm, Level I has been moved to the Advanced course listings
- Core and Advanced Credits are still being reviewed for some courses.
- A notification icon
has been included in the CLCS. If the icon is present to the right of a course, hover your cursor icon over it to view a popup of information useful for the course. - There are a few Core courses yet to be available on the LMS but they are coming soon.
- All Code courses will be available based on the 2017 NEC.
